Our clients use TruSeal™ to declare records. Whether a single file, such as a Will, or complex case documents, they simply select the files they wish to ensure for integrity by highlighting them on their file plan and the seals are applied and stored.
"We've simplified our office operations, and have the peace of mind that we can quickly and accurately determine whether a file has been tampered with, saving many hours of work and reducing the costs to our clients."
Traditional techniques work, but where evidence is called into question, comparisons need to be made and processes need to be verified. This is often a lengthy exercise and much time and effort is wasted exploring situations where no tampering has taken place, before discovering the instances where it has.
"TruSeal™ has enabled us to cut the amount of wasted time and effort to an absolute minimum, quickly helping to establish whether there are any integrity doubts. This saves money in the criminal justice system and reduces the time for cases to be examined."
We work with our Enterprise Clients to ensure that our software integrates into their business processes. Where necessary, we explore more flexible licensing models to accommodate huge volumes of material.
"TruSeal™ was first used to seal batched file scans. We then explored an integration project in which their developers built an interface that worked with the files as they were generated. Should there be a fire at the paper archive now, we are able to show that our digital archive has integrity and the files are untampered with.
TruSeal™ is used in organisations to produce a trail of evidence that supports the protection of intellectual property. It ensures that results cannot be falsified after the event and that claims are based on sound evidence obtained by the particular organisation, group or author. It has been particularly relevant to dissertation submissions in universities.
"Before we used TruSeal™ there was always the concern that someone could go back over their data and 'clean it up'. We had processes to explore that but they all took time and we could have been pipped to publications or patents by our competitors. TruSeal™ has given us confidence to safely speed things up.
Whether it's customer data, income and tax records, staff personal files or customer deliverables and invoices, small businesses need to be sure that their digital and electronic files are accurate. TruSeal™ helps by providing at-a-glance confirmation that these have not been corrupted.
"We use as much or little as we need. Each seal costs around £1 and, when it comes to standing behind a promise we make to a customer, that's money very well spent."
E-mail is increasingly seen as a form of evidence but mail systems were not designed with this in mind. Testing whether a message has been tampered with requires a comparison with the messages held in the E-mail Server Journal. Not all system administrators retain Journal entries for much more than a week. So, do you keep paper copies of all E-mails you receive and send?
TruSeal™ can be deployed at the E-mail Server level and can automatically seal every in-bound, out-bound or internal E-mail that it deals with. The configuration can include alerts to highlight when a forwarded message has been tampered with, removing the need for long term E-mail journalling and uncertainties associated with E-mail integrity.
You should be concerned. Tampering with "signed" or "encrypted" files is possible with a number of on-line applications. How will you ever know if your files are corrupt?
Well, you could perform master-to-file comparisons, but that's time consuming and you'll discover that many files are not corrupt.
TruSeal™ enables you to detect file tampering with the drag of a mouse or a glance at your folder view. TruSeal™ has CESG CCTM accreditation, so if the file seal is broken, the file is corrupt. Save time... Save money... Reduce your concerns... Share files safely with others... Try TruSeal™.
